The process
How it works
From your rate estimate to funds in your account in four clear steps, with no obligation until you sign.
The process, in full
The four steps
- 1Step 1 of 4
Get your rate estimate
You'll tell us roughly what you're borrowing for, how much, and a few details about yourself. In return you'll see an estimated rate and repayment figure, free, and with no obligation to take it further.
You'll need: About 90 seconds, and nothing but the basics.
- 2Step 2 of 4
Submit your application
If the estimate works for you, the full application asks for your income, regular expenses and employment details. Be accurate rather than optimistic. We assess what's really there, and honest numbers get faster answers.
You'll need: Your income, expense and employment details.
- 3Step 3 of 4
Verify your details
We'll ask you to upload recent bank statements so we can verify your position, and we make a credit check with a credit reporting body. This is the responsible-lending part: we check the loan actually holds up inside your real budget before anyone signs anything.
You'll need: Photo ID and your recent bank statements.
- 4Step 4 of 4
Get your funds
If approved, you'll get your contract to review and accept, written in plain English. Once accepted, funds are typically sent the same day, and we'll confirm when they're on their way.
You'll need: A careful read of your contract, then your acceptance.
How we assess
Assessed properly, by people.
Quote first, commit later
Your quote carries no obligation. If the numbers don't work for you, you simply don't go ahead. You only commit when you review and accept a contract.
Assessed on what's real
Every application is assessed against your real income and expenses under our responsible lending obligations. It's why approval is never "guaranteed", by us or anyone doing this properly.

A quote takes about 90 seconds. There's no obligation. You see your numbers first, and the decision stays yours.
